I just took my show on the road. A friends front lawn was heavily tunneled. After picking a spot that looked good I got into the car to leave. Thinking it would be a good idea to stomp the other runs in case I missed and needed to find a fresh run I got out of the car and walked toward the lawn. I SAW THE TRAP TRIP! Once you know how to spot an active tunnel, it's fairly easy. The only rookie mistake I initially made was stepping down the tunnel and then setting the trap. I had a few moles go around the trap because the plunger part ended up too far down in the tunnel. Once I understood the problem, I've been routinely successful. I plan to give my father-in-law his trap back, because I purchased three traps on-line today - two for me and one for a neighbor that had less luck with a different model.
